Hello, Dearests!
I don’t know why I thought a few days before Christmas was a good time for this, but for whatever reason, I sat down at the computer and wrote a post about a time I was a big fat jerk. Click here to read all about it!
May your holidays be merry and jerk-free.

The difference between you and the one who “jumped to the far-off conclusion” is that you listened to your son. And that made all the difference. Sure, you made a mistake, but you owned up to and apologized. Parenting win! Beautiful story, too. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you, Eric! I appreciate your thoughtful comment. I bet you feel the same way I do at times during this parenting gig — that I am the real student!
Happy Holidays to you and your family.

Your heart comes through loud and clear. How easy it is to think we know exactly why someone does what they do. This was timely and well said.
